Band bio:
If you were them you would probably not be here.
People would say that bands aren't faced with so many obstacles.
People would say that they should probably give in.
But they would tell you giving in is not an option.
For they are sons of chaos,
And the ride has only just begun!
The Story begins with just two sons, Lee Timmins (guitars) and pat Cox (Bass, vocals) meeting for the first time in Birmingham England at a college for musicians in October of 2003.With similar influences and a forward driven passion for heavy metal it was inevitable they would team up and from that point they began there journey of creativity to mould something special, something different from what was around at the time. With this mindset they wrote there first song “Re-Born”. This was the defining point where it was realised that what they had imagined could infact be realised.
Finding other sons and creating a band of brothers with the same vision and passion was what they would find to be a difficult struggle for years to come. Along the way they have had help from friends and peers which have lead them to where they are today.
This was where the obstacles took place finding a drummer and a lead guitar player, guitarists and drummers came and went Audition after audition takingmonths and months out of the steamrolling progress of the band hinderedthere every turn. Some musicians stayed for longer periods than othersbut all with the same result. At this time we managed to get a guitarplayer to help out but what can they do without a drummer?
In July 2005 pat met and befriended well known metal drummer of stamping ground “steel” Neil Hutton and convinced him to record some of there songs and in September 2005 at rhythm studios, Stafford, England it was complete.
This tool helped them create awareness which whispered of something special this something happened to reach the ears of highly acclaimed metal producer Andy Sneap who had previously worked with worldwide heavy hitters such Arch Enemy, Killswitch engage and Trivium to name but a few.
With Neil in tow in early 2007 they created there first ep of 6 songs at grindstone studios in Suffolk with producer Scott Atkins.
Now it's 2008 and Sons of Chaos are ready to unleash there sound upon the nation, it is time when the real story begins.
...for it is now time for chaos!
